Institut français / Cité internationale des arts residencies programme

The Institut français launches a call for applications for its programme at the Cité internationale des arts for residencies of three or six months, between April 2022 and April 2023.
The residency programme at the Cité internationale des arts is aimed at foreign artists, residing exclusively outside of France, who wish to undertake a research and creation project in Paris, and who are supported by one or more cultural partners.
These partners associated with the artist may be establishments belonging to the French cultural network abroad (Instituts français, Cultural Services of French Embassies, Alliances françaises) and/or French or foreign cultural bodies.
Applications submitted directly by artists shall not be accepted: they must absolutely be submitted by associated partners. Associated partners are allowed to submit more than one application, but they must ensure to submit one application per artist.
Submission of applications: until 15 November 2021, included
Selection committee: January 2022
Prior to the submission of applications, associated partners are invited to download the General Conditions and to contact Mathilde Lajarrige (mathilde.lajarrige@institutfrancais.com) to build the residency project together.
