Call for projects aimed at French or Polish structures wishing to propose a project as part of the French programme in Poland 

The Poland-France Season 2027 / Sezon Francja-Polska 2027 is part of the strengthening of bilateral relations between France and Poland, confirmed by the Treaty of Nancy signed on May 9, 2025 and entered into force on January 22, 2026.

Reaffirming the enduring friendship between our two countries, the Treaty affirms their shared commitment to building a common European future in the face of contemporary challenges: preserving Europe’s sovereignty and competitiveness, upholding fundamental freedoms, and promoting culture as a force for cohesion.

Jointly implemented by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Polish Institute in Paris, the Institut français and the French Embassy in Poland, in coordination with the Ministries of Culture and Foreign Affairs of both countries, the Season will focus on developing lasting cooperation between professionals in the cultural sectors of France and Poland.

It will also seek to engage civil society and highlight the creativity and innovation of young people in France and Poland, as well as the importance of critical thinking, cultural diversity, creative freedom, and the exchange of knowledge to strengthen social cohesion and European integration.

The Season will take place in 2027 simultaneously in Poland and France.

It is implemented:

• for Poland in France by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and by the Polish Institute in Paris;
• for France in Poland by the Institut français and by the French Embassy in Poland.

The Institut français' call for projects concerns solely the French programme in Poland.
